Lafeber Company was built by a father-son team of veterinarians with a shared love of animals and a special passion for birds. Dr. T.J. Lafeber developed the very first commercial bird food pellet in the back room of his veterinary clinic in the early 1970s. Today, Lafeber’s recipes are developed by his son, Dr. Ted Lafeber, III, along with top veterinarians and nutritionists.

Through the Lafeber Company Veterinary Medical Student Program, Lafeber products are available to UCD SVM students, staff, and residents at prices 65% off retail with a minimum purchase of $20.

Ordering Instructions:

  1. Sign up for SAVMA’s Pet Food Program.
  2. Register for a LafeberVet account at lafeber.com/vet/.
  3. Fill out this form (restricted to UC Davis email accounts) to be added to the listserve for monthly coupon codes.

Once your LafeberVet account has been registered and your form has been received, the Lafeber Company student representative will contact you via the email provided with the monthly coupon code.
